Pre-searing and Post..
I hear about people staying in Pre-Searing and never progressing to post.. what's the point of that?

There are a number of reasons - there are titles that are exclusive to Pre-Searing, Guild Recruiting, unique Pre-Sear items, and just to help new players just to name a few.

Well you can't really find an environment like pre anywhere else, i think it's the coolest place ever to just walk around and see all the scenery
 That's why i stay in pre.I have like...1 of each profession in pre, except mesmer, for now.

Why not stay in Pre? I have a perma pre character that I'd eventually like to earn LDoA with. Hanok listed most of the reasons people stay.
Just because someone has a perma-pre character doesn't mean they spend all their time in Pre. I have a variety of other characters that I spend most of my time playing. It's just nice to be able to access pre-searing when I want to. |

Yea, people like to farm dyes in pre, as they drop more often because there isn't as much loot that drops compared to post areas.
